Adlan Cruz - Pianist
Dr. Adlan Cruz is an internationally renowned Puerto Rican pianist, composer, producer, and philanthropist whose career spans over three decades and more than 60 countries. From a young prodigy in Bayamón to performing on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, his powerful and expressive style blends classical music with Latin rhythms, Caribbean flair, and global influences.
With over 30 original albums—including The Piano Forte Collection, Christmas Around the World, and Piano Latino—Dr. Cruz has built a diverse repertoire and collaborated with notable artists such as Arthur Maia, Lionel Peterson, and Marcel Boungou. He has performed with major symphonic orchestras, interpreting works by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Gershwin, and has brought his unique sound to audiences in Saudi Arabia, Russia, Nigeria, Singapore, and beyond.
A committed humanitarian, Dr. Cruz founded the Adlan Cruz Foundation, which funds educational opportunities for underprivileged youth in Brazil. He regularly supports international charities such as the YMCA, Salvation Army, and Samaritan’s Feet, and was honoured by UNESCO and the First Lady of the Congo for his philanthropic work.
With accolades from institutions in Europe, Asia, and the Americas—including a Doctorate Honoris Causa in Humanities—Dr. Cruz continues to serve as a cultural ambassador for Puerto Rico, inspiring audiences through both his music and his mission.
